The Great gatsby

An immersive, free form, site based production of F Scott Fitzgerald’s seminal jazz age tale.

Told across multiple spaces, where audience are free to roam and pick their own routes through the narrative, the

production is full of red hot jazz, bootleg liquor and intimate encounters.

From big set piece dance routines, to secret meetings and snatched moments, no audience experience will ever be the same.

Encouraged to arrive in 1920s dress, the audience arrive at a secret speakeasy. From here, the performance spaces open up as the narrative expands and we bodily step in to one of Jay Gatsby’s legendary parties. As the story moves forwards, the audience sit in the centre of a tragedy –a night of singing too loud,  dancing too hard and reaching too far for the things we cannot grasp.
