Making stuff and making stuff happen
The Flanagan Collective are an internationally award winning theatre company set up to make stuff and the make stuff happen. Led by Alexander Wright, the company makes shows, runs festivals, tells stories and tries to find ways to bring people together. There's often a lot of music, often a lot of words, and often some pretty brilliant places full of amazing people.
Recently, they've been making and touring three myths with Gobbeldigook Theatre - Orpheus, Eurydice and The Gods The Gods which have toured across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and run in New York.
Previous work includes Beulah, Babylon, Fable and Some Small Love Story alongside adaptations of Frankenstein, A Christmas Carol and Sherlock Holmes.
The Flanagan Collective are based in rural North Yorkshire in the UK, working out of a conversted 17th Century water mill.
